Our Security and Crowd Managers have written in depth planning documents and delivered our services for some of Europe's largest festivals and most unique events, ensuring the safety of thousands of people with a customer service focused approach.

Event Security Management

In today’s environment, event security is a compulsory factor to be considered when organising any event. Regardless of the scale or complexity of your production, event or occasion, 90 Degrees Management team strategically plan, manage and deliver your event security, event stewarding or crowd management operations in accordance with your individual requirements.
One of our key goals is to help remove stress and assist the development of the event to match clients’ aspirations. We have experience and expertise in planning and implementing all the elements of successful event security, including providing specialist security functions such as ingress and egress management, emergency services liaison, effective pit team deployment and close protection services to high profile artists, patrons or clients.
Within our Events Security division we have a group of qualified Operational Managers to oversee the implementation of the crowd management plan on site and adapt it if required. Our experience of providing Event Security to a diverse range of events means that we really understand different audience demographics and can tailor our approach accordingly.

Event Security Planning

We are able to assist at all stages of your event, not only do we provide security and safety personnel for the event itself. We can aid in all the behind the scenes planning of your event. Our management team have created in depth security management and crowd management planning documents for some of Europe’s largest and most unique festivals. These planning documents are often used by Local Authorities, Licensing, Police, Safety Advice Groups, amongst others to aid in decision making and shows correct planning has been put into the event.

Event Security and Stewarding Personnel

In our experience good festival security is much more than detailed planning and operational standard; the staff make the event just as much as the acts. We understand that the Event Security is often the first point of human contact that people have when they come to a festival, so we ensure that everyone gets a warm welcome from a friendly and knowledgeable member of staff every time. We also take a vested interest in each festival we provide for and aim to help event and festival organisers create something special that people want to tell their friends about.
We have an extensive range of experience in providing festival security and pride ourselves on the excellent relationships we have with several event organisers across the UK. It speaks volumes that the majority of new and prospective clients come to us through recommendation or through festival organisers witnessing our preformance first-hand.

All security staff are SIA Licenced and all staff are vetted to BS7858 industry standard.

Crowd Management

The queue upon entry to your event will be your customers first impression and the exit procedure will be the last thing they remember. Crowd management is different to security. Effective crowd management helps to ensure the safety of those at an event from the guests, the staff, and the performers and can alleviate problems prior to them occurring. Good crowd management will enhance the customer experience. When an event is taking place, everyone in the venue should be able to enjoy themselves without worrying about their safety. The consequences of a poorly managed crowd can be disastrous. Including damage to your brand or reputation, injuries to customers and staff or worse.
Everything from orderly queues to the crowd flow during a event needs to be managed properly. If you have ever been in a poorly managed queue, one that seemingly never moves or one where people push in at will, you will know how frustrating that can be. This frustration can lead to tempers fraying and altercations happening, so effective management can help minimise the risk of these occurrences.

Specialist Teams

90 Degrees has developed a number of specialty teams. These teams can be deployed alongside our Security and Crowd Management services or stand alone to bolster current service providers.

Incident Response Teams (IRT)- These teams work along side our event security teams dealing with incidents that may occur. All team members are SIA Licenced, vetted to BS7858 industry standard, first aid trained, incident management trained, ACT counter terror trained, equipped with body cameras and all experienced within the event and festival sector.

Behavioural Analysis Team (BDO)- A mixture of overt and covert team member specifically allocated to tackling the treat of organised crime and terrorist threats towards large capacity events.

Mobile CCTV (MCT)- We have developed unique handheld mobile CCTV devices, carried by members of our team, these devices have proven to aid in the reduction of anti-social behaviour and over recreational drug use at events. They also aid in evidence gathering in the event crimes are committed at events.

Front of Stage Safety Team (PIT)- Team members trained in the safe operation of a front of stage barrier area or Pit. These team members are there to act as security for the stage however they are also trained in the detection of distressed crowd members, the safe extraction of crowd members, crowd movement and crushing and providing welfare to crowd participants.

Search/Ingress/Egress/Enhanced Search/Ejection teams- We provide teams specifically to these areas of an event. Enhanced search and Ejection procedures, if not handled appropriately and documented properly, can cause difficulties later down the line. Whether that be from a customer services perspective or evidence gathering for the police. We have developed procedures to ensure these areas are handled appropriately.

Event Medical Services

We are event specialists and understand how to work smoothly alongside other event contractors. Our handpicked teams work thousands of hours at events each year and are adept applying their skills in diverse and dynamic event environments.

Venue Security & Door Supervisors

Door Supervisors are often the first and last point of contact your customers have with your venue and we ensure they receive the right impression. Our team are always smart in appearance, professional and most importantly friendly. We understand that all venues are different and we focus on providing a tailored service to suit your venue. We place a strong emphasis on the importance of relationship building.
The welfare of your customers is our concern. In order to promote this our Door Supervisors are trained in first aid and health and safety procedures to recognise the importance of looking after people within their job role.
Your premises licence is our also concern. We collect data on incidents, refusals and capacity figures to ensure you licence is protected.

Asset Protection & Manned Gaurding

We understand the importance of a positive customer experience. We aim to enhance your business by providing a comprehensive security service in line with your brand identity and customers’ expectations. We will protect your staff, visitors and assets and we will also protect your reputation. We will work in partnership with you order to create ambassadors for your organisation as well as highly trained and knowledgeable security professionals.

Travel Support Services

90 Degrees offer a unique service to the travel and tour industry. Working hand in hand with travel and tour providers 90 Degrees provide Travel Support Agents. These agents aid in minimising the impact tour groups and large capacity trips have on holiday destinations. We work alongside our clients and local authorities to ensure the safety of customers, reducing anti-social behaviour and assist in upholding the local laws, regulation and cultural norms of the chosen country. Tours vary in size from 5000 student passengers to summer and winter holiday destinations, medium size school and educational trips, right down to small expeditions of 5 or 6 with camera crew. We can offer security, safety, medical, logistical and operational support before, during and after a trip.

Media Protection

We have provided our Media Protection services for several large media companies and productions throughout the UK and Internationally.
We know and understand that media production can change requirements at short notice which is why we maintain open dialogue with clients on a regular basis to enable us to adapt to varying changes in their needs. Our media operations team always work closely with production to plan and implement security protocol that is suited for the task.
